This week, IMT therapists from around the country and the world (word up, Italy and Hong Kong!) are here in Connecticut for our big summer classes. Last time we saw everyone was at winter school, when we shared a short video and told our colleagues about our plans for Nepal in April. At that time we wondered what we’d have to say at Summer School six months later. The answer: a whole lot!
This Thursday Aug. 9, we’ll be holding an open house and slideshow presentation at the Institute of Integrative Manual Therapy in Bloomfield, CT about the Handovermatter pilot. It will be a chance for us to display our teaching materials, medicinal plant kit, paraphernalia like singing bowls and thankas – and most importantly, to give an hour-long slideshow talk on our time in Nepal.
In addition, the IMTA digital news is out, and Handovermatter is taking up a big old piece of real estate with a three-page article. It’s so much fun to finally be sharing our adventures and incredible learning from this project with our professional community!
